I am thinking of buying a NEW Samsung NC10 net book & I would like to know if Samsung offer extented warranty “in the box”. ie a form to buy 2 or 3 years extra cover, most shops offer it but the cost is about half the cost of the product, in my view “a rip off” Thanks for any advice.

I’ll put it to you like this… do you think you will wish you had bought that extra warranty when the unit fails 13 months from now… a month after the warranty expires? Are you confident the unit will work for a few years dependably?
And as with most electronic products the standard practice is that you must purchase any extended warranty at the time of purchase. Samsung does not offer the ability to purchase an extended warranty on their website, so there would not be a form to purchase it by mail, after your initial purchase.
