Help Pc Monitor No In Built Speakers But Graphics Card Outputs Audio ?

Ok I have a PC with a Ati HD5870 Graphics card it has Integrated HD audio controller
* Output high bit rate 7.1 channel surround sound over HDMI with no additional cables required
The thing is am looking for a PC Monitor and i really like this Samsung one but it has no built in speakers but if I use a HDMI cable from my Ati HD5870 graphics card to the Samsung monitor will I be able to get sound without needing external speakers for the Monitor ???
