Why Does My Phone Keep Saying Sim Card Registration Failed And Connection Error?

I have had a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music for a while now but just today my phone wouldn’t call anyone or send messages. I have restarted my phone and tried another SIM but the phone now keeps saying SIM card registration failed. Also every time I try to ring someone it keeps saying connection error, do I need to buy a new phone?

    Probaly find your local base station is down

    If there is no network problem and both SIM cards did not work in your device then you have a bad phone
