Wrist Damage???? Please Read?

I was getting dressed this morning, and managed to knock my wrist. It’s now a few hours later, on the inside of my wrist (thumb side) I have a lump, it’s hard and sore touch. It’s at the base of the squishy bit, palm side! Sorry I don’t know how else to describe it. My wrist isn’t swollen, but it’s aching quite a lot.
I don’t think it’s anything serious but thought I’d ask you guys what you think….does it warrant a 4 hr wait in A&E???

I think you may have made the muscles tighten up their tendons when you knocked your wrist, it’s their reaction to pain. That is going to make your whole wrist uncomfortable and painful to use. You have to release the muscles in your wrist to get rid of the pain and you can do that by doing this:
    Wrist:
With hand resting in front of you and your wrist bent half way closed, press down hard slightly behind the wrist and hold that pressure. After 30 seconds slowly open your wrist up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your wrist open for another 30 seconds.
for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Same thing happened to me. In Gaelic Football(an irish sport) the football bent my hand back. I had a big bump on my wrist. It was very sore and could hardly move it but i could bend my fingers. In the cemist i got a bandage like a one for you knee and it went around my wrist but my fingers stuck out. After a couple of weeks of takng it easy it got better and it is perfect now.
    Hope i answered your
    question

Right, first and foremost, you’re typing therefor your not dead. DO NOT PANIC! This could cause your body to go into spasms and this is all we need when our wrist has gone into a state of anarchy. Control the pain with some freshly ground black pepper and a pinch of crushed rainbow drops. If pain persists do not call your GP as this could cause him/her to panic and then their body can therefor go into spasm which could lead to a manslaughter charge. Basically you are truly done for unless the rainbow pepper treatment works. Good luck.
